POLITICAL TAX CREDIT FOR INDIVIDUALS
All Ontarians are eligible for generous refundable tax credits when they make provincial political contributions, payable to the contributor whether or not they have taxable income.
In 2025, you may give:
(1) $3400 to the OLP
(2) $3400 to the BQPLA
(3) $3400 to the February 2025 Campaign during the election period
Note that the maximum credit is $1622.08 for all your donations combined.
- Donations between 0 and $500.05: give you a 75 per cent refund
- Donations between $500.06 and $1666.82: give you $375.04 plus 50 per cent of any amount over $500.05
- Donations between $1666.83 and $3400.00: give you $958.42 plus 33 1/3 per cent of any amount over $1666.82
